About Me
Dr. Nick Sanders is a practicing physical therapist and owner of PHYT For Function, a self pay physical therapy group in Northeast Ohio. Dr. Sanders worked and trained directly with Dr. Frank Gargano starting in 2012. He has been teaching IDN courses since 2016 and is the co-creator of the Neuro Release Treatment (NRT) Course. The NRT course presents the IDN neurologic model but with the use of tools such as cupping, percussion massage, and IASTM. He specializes in orthopedic and manual therapy with special interests in vestibular rehabilitation, auto-immune disorders, and sports performance. He works as a consultant with several area Crossfit gyms implementing dry needling, movement evaluation, and manual therapy for the care and performance of their athletes. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has completed continuing education in the Mulligan Concept, Owens Blood Flow Restriction, The Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Postural Restoration Institute. Dr. Sanders is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, American Physical Therapy Association and Sports Special Interest Group.
